Local Discovery is being built to help people find what is happening around them: restaurant specials, weekday deals, events, entertainment, sports promotions, giveaways, and everyday places worth knowing about. The product is still in development. Planned ideas include list and map views, search, saved places, community submissions, business posting, freshness indicators, and tools that can turn a loose question into a usable plan. One intended example: a parent asking what they can do tonight with their daughter for under $40, and receiving a suggestion based on budget, location, timing, and who they are with. Not every planned capability is available yet.
